| CONTEST |
By answering all the questions in the online participation form at these addresses:
you will automatically be eligible for the contest. There is no obligation to purchase or make a reservation. Completing the participation form gives you 1 entry for the draw. Only one participation form may be submitted during the contest.
The contest winner will be determined by a draw from among all the participation form received between July 22, 2009 and up to midnight on October 30, 2009. The first name drawn will receive the certificate. The draw will take place on November 6, 2009 at 11 am, Eastern daylight time. |
| DESCRIPTION AND VALUE OF THE GIFT CERTIFICATE |
One gift certificate with a value of $500 CAN will be drawn. This gift certificate will be valid for one year, from November 7, 2009 to November 6, 2010. This gift certificate is offered by the Fédération des Agricotours du Québec. It can be used at any one Gîte du Passant or Auberge du Passant certified by the Fédération des Agricotours du Québec and listed on the www.inns-bb.com web site.
Should the establishment selected by the winner at the time of booking no longer be certified by the Fédération des Agricotours du Québec as a Gîte du Passanttm or Auberge du Passanttm establishment for any reason, the certificate will be honoured at another certified establishment for an equivalent prize. |
| WHEN DOES THE CONTEST CLOSE? |
|
The contest opens on July 22, 2009 and closes on October 30, 2009 at midnight, Eastern daylight time.
The winner will be notified by email within seven days of the draw date. It is therefore essential that you provide a valid email address. The winner must contact the Fédération des Agricotours du Québec within 15 days of receiving the email notification; he or she will then receive a letter, sent by regular mail, confirming that they have won the gift certificate, and giving instructions for its use.

Should the winner not contact the Fédération des Agricotours du Québec within two weeks of the announcement, or should the winner be found not to have complied with contest rules, the prize will not be awarded, and a new draw will take place. The prize must be accepted as advertised, and may not be transferred or exchanged for cash. |
| ELIGIBILITY |
This contest is open to all residents of Québec aged 18 years and over. Those involved in any way with the advertising contest, the Fédération’s employees, its representatives, its agents or the owners of an establishment listed on the on the www.inns-bb.com/, www.terroircuisineandproducts.com/ and www.agritourismquebec.com/ sites, and any members of their households, are not eligible to participate.
The winner authorizes the Fédération des Agricotours du Québec to use his or her name and photograph for advertising purposes without any form of remuneration.
Entry participation forms become the property of the Fédération des Agricotours du Québec and may be used by it for promotional purposes. In participating in this contest, a contestant agrees to respect the official contest rules and the decisions of the Fédération des Agricotours du Québec, which will be final. |
| LIABILITY |
The Fédération des Agricotours du Québec will not be held liable for any inability to connect to the network, for unsuccessful, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, Internet failures, hardware or software malfunctions or any other technical problem, for any communications failure or circumstances affecting, disrupting or corrupting the contest in any way whatsoever, including, but not limited to, the receiving of entries, eligibility of the contestants, transmission of notification to the winner, and the winner’s response to this notification. The Fédération des Agricotours du Québec promises that all personal information provided by you for the purpose of this contest will remain confidential. This information will not be sold, leased or provided to third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
The winner hereby releases the Fédération des Agricotours du Québec, its employees and its members, as well as their agents, from any responsibility for any injury, accident, loss or other problem related in any way to the prize. |
| CANCELLATION |
|
The Fédération des Agricotours du Québec reserves the right to cancel or postpone this contest in the event of a computer virus, bug or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Fédération des Agricotours du Québec, which affects the security or the effective management of this contest, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux. |
| LIMITATIONS |
|
This contest is subject to provincial laws and is null and void where the law prohibits it. Any dispute regarding the organization or the conduct of an advertising contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec. Any dispute regarding the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie for the sole purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement. |
