By answering all the questions in the online questionnaire at this address: www.agritourismquebec.com/contest_questionnaire.html, you will automatically be eligible for the contest. There is no obligation to purchase or make a reservation. Completing the questionnaire gives you 1 entry for the draw. Only one questionnaire per person may be submitted during the contest.                          

 

Contest winners will be determined by a draw from among all the questionnaires received between May 12, 2008 and up to midnight on September 30, 2008. The first 4 names drawn will each receive 1 of 4 gift certificates. The draw will take place on October 7, 2008 at 11 am, Eastern daylight time.

 

4 gift certificates, each with a value of $500, will be drawn, for a total value of $2,000 CAN. These gift certificates will be valid for one year, from October 8, 2008 to October 7, 2009. These gift certificates are offered by the Fédération des Agricotours du Québec. They can be used at any one (1) of the farms or agricultural operations on this Web site that offer agritourism activities.

 

The contest opens on May 12, 2008, when the www.agritourismquebec.com Web site comes on line, and closes on September 30, 2008 at midnight, Eastern daylight time.

 

Winners will be notified by email within seven days of the draw date. It is therefore essential that you provide a valid email address. Winners must contact the Fédération des Agricotours du Québec within 15 days of receiving the email notification; they will then each receive a letter, sent by regular mail, confirming that they have won gift certificates, and giving instructions for their use.

Should one or more of the winners not contact the Fédération des Agricotours du Québec within two weeks of the announcement, or should one or more of the winners be found not to have complied with contest rules, those prize(s) will not be awarded, and a new draw will take place. The prize must be accepted as advertised, and may not be transferred or exchanged for money.

 

This contest is open to all residents of Québec aged 18 years and over. Those involved in any way with the advertising contest, the Fédération’s employees, its representatives, its agents or the owners of an establishment listed on the www.agritourismquebec.com site, and any members of their households, are not eligible to participate.

 

In participating in this contest, a contestant agrees to respect the official contest rules and the decisions of the Fédération des Agricotours du Québec, which will be final.

 

The Fédération des Agricotours du Québec will not be held liable for any inability to connect to the network, for unsuccessful, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, Internet failures, hardware or software malfunctions or any other technical problem, for any communications failure or circumstances affecting, disrupting or corrupting the contest in any way whatsoever, including but not limited to the receiving of entries, eligibility of the contestants, transmission of notification to the winner, and the winner’s response to this notification. The Fédération des Agricotours du Québec promises that all personal information provided by you for the purpose of this contest will remain confidential. This information will not be sold, leased or provided to third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

 

Cancellation

The Fédération des Agricotours du Québec reserves the right to cancel or postpone this contest in the event of a computer virus, bug or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Fédération des Agricotours du Québec, which affects the security or the effective management of this contest, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux.

 

This contest is subject to provincial laws and is null and void where the law prohibits it. Any dispute regarding the organization or the conduct of an advertising contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec. Any dispute regarding the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie for the sole purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
